Even as Egypt had gone away to a six goal distance twice, Japan was strong enough to close the gap again in the middle of the second half. But by extending the lead from 27:24 to 32:26 the Northern Africans decided the match and reached the final, which will be played on Monday in Skövde. Thanks to the Danish victory also Serbia booked the ticket to the Main Round. The seven goals of Jung Park decided this game of two continents. The first half was a roller coaster as the lead changed constantly – but in the end equal with as close lead for the Egyptians. The second half was absolutely equal until the 17:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 17, before Korea first extended the lead to 20:18 and 22:19 in minute 53. As it was the tenth African Nations title for Angola, Tunisia won Gold for the eight time.</p> <p>Angola beat Tunisia in a high tensioned women&rsquo;s final which was decided only ten seconds before the end, 31:30. Tunisia won against the men&rsquo;s team of host nation Egypt 24:21. As those four teams had been qualified for the next World Championships before, the men from Algeria and the women from Ivory Coast snatched the last tickets to Sweden (men) and Brazil (women) and took the Bronze medals.
