Soon it is time, the starting time gets closer every day, which is amazing! But there are some obstacles along the way, or is there?

Malmö Arena will be hosting one of the biggest events in the Nordic countries of all time. In this post I figured I'd look closer at some of the teams that will take part in tournament.

The Swedish Championship finals will be the dress rehearsal for the World Championships so it will be fun to see how this is handled.

I can imagine a gigantic event with fanzones, enormous commerical balloons in the air, VIP rooms with all manner of celebrities mingling with champagneglasses all the time. Then you want good handball too of course, but this time I want handball to really brag to the world about the fact that we've separated ourselves from the unprioritised sports and flex our muscles! This is our chance to get sponsors from other sports such as ice hockey, football and above all basketball and floorball so BRAG!

Tänkte börja med att be om ursäkt då det dröjt ruskigt länge innan jag skrev något här. Men jag får väl köra med klyschan ”det har varit sjukt mycket på sistone” (tror ni min fru har hört det innan?).

Nu är det snart dags, tiden för avkast kommer allt närmare och närmare, vilket är helt underbart! Dock finns det en del hinder på vägen, eller?

Malmö Arena ska vara arrangör för ett av Nordens största evenemang genom tiderna. I detta inlägg tänkte jag kolla lite på de olika lagen som ska komma och gästa oss. SM-finalen blir ett genrep för VM, så det ska bli kul att se hur detta styrs upp.

Japan made Bahrain and Korea company on the Asian train to Sweden, and we say: very welcome!

Saudi Arabia were sooo close... For you that missed the dramatic end of the semi-final between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia we attach the video again.

Time to welcome another two teams to Men's Handball World Championship in Sweden in 2011:

Bahrain and Korea.

Both teams have made it to the final in the Asian Championships, and are therefore qualified as two of three Asian teams. The winner of the bronze match (Japan vs. Saudi Arabia) will be the third one.

The last seconds of the semi-final between Bahrain was sensational. Saudi was playing 6-4 and had the ball with seven seconds to go. They took at shot with four seconds left and you have to look at the attached video to belive what happend...
