Updated again: Exchanging tickets for the semifinal in Kristianstad

Update 1: Those who have a 'Ticket Fast' ticket (e-ticket – in PDF format) for the semi-final in Malmö and like to exchange this for the semi-final in Kristianstad are now able to do this by calling Call Center at +46 77 170 70 70. You have to state your order number.

Update 2: Here is another way to try to exchange tickets:

Those who have tickets for Malmö and like to attend to the match in Kristianstad can send an e-mail to semimalmo@handball2011.com and state your name, e-mail address, telephone number and the number (and category) of tickets that you would like to exchange.

Those who have tickets for Kristianstad and like to attend to the match in Malmö can send an e-mail to semikristianstad@handball2011.com and state your name, e-mail address, telephone number and the number (and category) of tickets that you would like to exchange.

Semi-final tickets will be refunded

Due to the situation with Danish ticket holders for the semi-final in Malmö, instead of Kristianstad, the Central Organizing Committee offers the possibility to refund tickets to the semi final.

This decision has been made in close cooperation with Malmö Arena and Ticnet.

To be able to get refunded one should call "Call Center", +46 775 780 000, and state the booking reference number before 12.00 on Friday 28 January.

World Cup

With beginning tomorrow four of the WCh teams will meet in a small tournament in Sweden. The participating teams are Sweden, Iceland, Norway and Denmark.

The tournament is kind of a pre championship with the kind of confusing name 'World Cup'.

The two first matches will be played Tuesday evening in Halmstad, Sweden. First is Norway vs. Denmark, followed by Sweden vs. Iceland.

On Wednesday the winners – and the loosers – will meet in Malmö Arena.

There are tickets left, for those who want to take the opportunity to see the Nordic Stars before the real championship starts. For tickets to Halmstad Arena, call +46(0)35-12 02 00. For tickets to Malmö, go to www.ticnet.se.

Ticket vouchers for Malmö/Lund

The two Semi-finals will be played in Malmö and Kristianstad. It will be decided late January 25 which one will be played where. For the Main Round in Malmö and Lund it will be decided January 20 what matches that will be played in Lund. It is however already decided that Denmark and Sweden (if they are qualified) will play in Malmö. To be sure that you will have a ticket for the arena where your team is playing, we have for these occasions a limited number of ticket vouchers. These ticket vouchers will be changed into a ticket for the right arena. If you have a voucher and your team didn´t qualify the voucher will always be valid for Malmö Arena. As said, the numbers are limited, so first to buy are the lucky ones.

More tickets for the final

Another 400 tickets for the final will be released September 1 at 10.00. The final will be played in Malmö Arena.
– The demand for tickets is high, says Frank Ström, commercial manager for the Men's Handball World Championship 2011.

A final number of tickets have been previously released in October 2009 and in March 2010.
- On both occasions, demand was very high, highest at the most expensive category, says Frank Ström.

Now we release more tickets!

Anyone who wants to see the final or the semi-finals of the Men’s Handball World Championship – or Sweden’s matches – may now have a new chance to buy tickets.
 
On Thursday, March 25, we release 2.000 new tickets for the final in Malmö Arena. In addition, 2 000 tickets to each semi-final in Malmö and Kristianstad are to be sold.
You can buy these tickets through Ticnet, www.ticnet.se
 
From 25 March also Sweden's matches in Gothenburg can be purchased, in two new packages:
Sweden's opening match and Sweden's second match in preliminary round (13 and 15 January)
Sweden's final three games in preliminary round (17, 18 and 20 January)
These tickets are sold through www.ticnet.se or Scandinavium ticket office by phone +46 31-81 10 20.

Nu släpper vi fler biljetter!

Den som vill se finalen i handbolls-VM, semifinaler eller Sveriges gruppspelsmatcher får nu en ny chans att köpa biljetter.
 
Den 25 mars släpps 2 000 nya finalbiljetter till Malmö Arena. Dessutom släpps 2 000 biljetter till respektive semifinal i Malmö och Kristianstad.
Dessa biljetter säljs via www.ticnet.se
 
Från 25 mars kan även Sveriges gruppspelsmatcher i Göteborg köpas, i två olika paketlösningar:
Sveriges invigningsmatch och Sveriges andra match (13 och 15 januari)
Sveriges tre sista gruppspelsmatcher (17, 18 och 20 januari)
Dessa biljetter säljs via www.ticnet.se eller genom Scandinaviums biljettkassa på telefon 031-81 10 20.
 
Utöver detta släpps även ”Follow-your-team”-biljetter till matcherna med de VM-klara lagen: Frankrike, Polen, Island, Kroatien, Japan, Korea, Bahrain, Egypten, Tunisien och Algeriet.

First ticket release

Now we are releasing the first tickets to the Men's Handball World Championship 2011.

The first tickets to be released is to all Sweden’s five matches and 2’500 tickets to the final in Malmö.

Tickets to all of Sweden’s matches (no tickets for separate matches) and the opening in Gothenburg is booked on www.ticnet.se or through the ticket office at Scandinavium on +46 31 811020.
