One semi-final to Kristianstad

Finals and one of the semi-finals in Malmo. The second has been undecided, until today, when the board of Handball 2011 decided to locate the other semi-final to Kristianstad.

From the beginning the intention was that Kristianstad would get one of Malmö's matches in the main round, but this was not the International Handball Federation, IHF, along with. It was too far to travel for the teams, said IHF. For the same reason Skövde may not "help" Jönköping with matches in the main round.

One placement matches after the main round will be located in Kristianstad as well. Which one will be determined right after the main round is finished.

- I'm sure there will be a party out of the ordinary in Kristianstad, says Arne Elovsson, president of the World Cup Company.

The sale of tickets for the semi-finals is planned to March 2010, when even more final tickets will be sold.
