There are all the matches and venues posted.

However, it is not clear at what time - and in what order - the matches are to be played. This is determined sometime in the fall. The proposed start times are 18:00 and 20:00 when it is played two matches in an arena and also 16:00 if three matches are to be played.

Official draw in Gothenburg

This friday, July 9th will the official final draw take place in the Scandinavium Arena in Gothenburg. The draw will be televised on Swedish TV4 Sport.

The ceremony will take place on the occasion of the Leader's Party for the Partille Cup. Partille Cup is the world's largest handball tournament, more than 1.000 teams are coming to Gothenburg this week to play handball.

Samtliga 24 lag klara för Handbolls-VM 2011

Chile, Argentina och Brasilien knep de tre sista platserna till Handbolls-VM 2011 i Sverige.
Nu väntar 24 lag och åtta VM-städer spänt på lottningen om knappa två veckor.

Sverige, som värdnation, och Frankrike, som regerande världsmästare, har varit klara för Sverige-VM länge. Våren har inneburit en spänd väntan på vilka andra nationer som skulle kunna kvittera ut VM-biljetter i kvalspel världen över.
– Vi är glada att alla stora handbollsnationer i vårt närområde har kvalificerat sig till mästerskapet. Det är en bra grund för den fest detta kommer att bli, säger Arne Elovsson, vd för VM-bolaget.

Lottningen till Handbolls-VM hålls i Göteborg 9 juli och sänds i TV4 Sport. Då bestäms vilka lag som kommer att spela i vilken stad.
– Det blir spännande. Men hur lottningen än utfaller kommer det är bli högkaratiga matcher i alla VM-städer och det känns roligt att kunna erbjuda den svenska idrottspubliken detta, säger Arne Elovsson.

All 24 teams are qualified

Welcome Argentina!

Welcome Brasil!

And welcome Chile that – together with the two more experienced teams from South America – have qualified for their first World Championship ever.

Now we know which 24 teams that will come to Sweden in January, 200 days from now.

It is Sweden, as host nation.

France, as reigning champions.

Poland, Iceland and Croatia, that qualified during EURO 2010.

Austria, Norway, Hungary, Germany, Slovakia, Serbia, Romania, Denmark and Spain from the European qualification matches.

Australia from the Oceanian qualifcation.

Japan, Korea and Bahrain from Asia.

Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt from Africa.

And, finally, the three teams from Panamerica that qualified during the weekend.
