Dear friends from around the world
I am no expert on handball, just an enthusiastic follower of this WM, but what strikes me is the nice cometogether of voices uttered in newspapers and on webpages around the globe. I think this dialoque across national borders and the friendly matches on the handball field actually lives up to the ideal of Sport itself.
I would love to watch the game against France with french people, and celebrate not only danes players (I am from Copenhagen) or french players, but the game as something we participate in together.
I am impressed by the danish performance sofar. To be hornest, I would not have counted on it, though I think it was possible from the start to expect great handball from Denmark, which has a strong tradition for the game (in this country we sometimes brag about the fact that modern handball is in fact a danish invention) and probably one of the best coaches in the world.
To see Landin and Hansen take responsibillity, develop to such a level and observe such stability from this young team in general, that has impressed and surprised me. I am genuinely curious as to wheather Denmark can actually beat France. My oppinion is, France is favorite becourse of the group of more experinced players - also under stress (e.g. the macht against Croatia). But in any case Wilbek will have candidated to the title as the best coach in the sport, since he has led this very young danish group to such early succes, and the already earned hornor of the danish play in Sweden will have a positive effect in Denmark and promise further international succes within the next four years.
Thank you wunderful brother in Scandinavia - and historically one of the best handball nations on earth, Sweden - for hosting the World Champignonships.
Love from Copenhagen, Rasmus

Denmark has a team with many young players, and what talents. I don't think many had believed that they could go this far and with style too. I hope for Denmark to beat France even France have to be the favorites with thier amazing players and defense. But Denmarks young team have so much energy and enthusiasm and are riding a wave of victories so I think it's not impossible for them to fight thier way to gold
FINAL will be: France vs Denmark !!!
GO FRANCE !!!!!

Go Denmark! I wish you win! I think that deserve to win for the tremendous progress since the previous championships. I'm Polish and I support Polish team, but nothing can make things happen at these championships. Show this conceited Swedes in their place! good luck! Win with them!
Congratulations to Denmark, hell of a game, i mean really great performance from you...i'll cheer for you in the rest of the tournament cause you really play excellent handball unlike my homeland Croatia that is unrecognizable...of course i hope that Croatia reaches Olympics in London!

Serbia did fight hard against Denmark. But their real problem is, that they didnt have the strength in the secong half.

Im sorry to say it, but Serbia was nowhere near a victory against Denmark. They did get a lot of penalties against them - usually teams from eastern Europe do - thats because they play a more violent game. I wonder why they dont realize, that it isnt a boxing match but instead a ballgame. Its as if the serbes dont realize that the war is over. A pitty, cause Serbia has a lot to offer the world, when it comes to great handball players. They skould just learn to control their temper and not give everybody else the blame, if they are not good enough. Come on Mihha - only a looser would claim that the opposite team has paid of the referee. If you look at statistics, Denmark is the least corrupt country in the world - you cant say the samme thing about Serbia. So come again. Get back in the game and stop whining.
TAke good care - and lots of love from Australia

Today I saw at local sports bookmaker that handicap on game between Denmark and Australia is +29,5 goals for Australia... is it possible to lose the game with 30goals of difference? Are Australians that weak or what?... If they fight enough i think that they can play at higher level, than that are bookies suppose... Any comments on this are welcome, i'm still wondering?

Denmark is not an experionced team as this website claims. We are working on a new generation. I will be satisfied if we end up as number 6. In 2 or 4 years Denmark will have perhaps the worlds best team. We have so many young talented players - and they are hungry for succes. If we can keep Wilbek as our coach for another 4 years, we can expect more gold medals thats for sure - so watch out in the future - cuase we'll be back - stronger than ever.

Denmark plays fast and modern handball but will lose against Croatia...let there be sportsmanship and say Croatia-Denmark=28:27...cheers from Croatia:)!
Milan: No. Kasper Hvidt does not play for the national team anymore, he stopped at the 2010 European championship in Austria, but Niklas Landin is also a very talented goalkeeper and he is so young still so I believe he might become better then Kasper (:
