Coming closer...

It has been Christmas and new year and we suppose that the majority have tried to relax a bit more than usual.

Now it's full focus again. Training matches for EURO 2010 has been played and it's just a little more than a week to go until the opening match in Austria.

The handball temperature rises.

But already on Wednesday, January 13th, it is a day to pay attention to. Then it's exactly a year left until the opening of the Men's Handball World Championship in Sweden.

Sounds as a long time, maybe. But it is only 365 days.

In March we will release more tickets. Keep an eye out here on the site for more information.

Ticket sales starts on Monday

Lots of work now to prepare the first release of championship tickets. Press releases in English and Swedish. Texts to web pages and forms. First major ad is published today in the national daily Expressen.

It's really getting closer. The ticket sales to the Handball World Championships in Sweden starts on Monday.

First up are tickets to Sweden's five matches in Gothenburg, and 2'500 tickets for the finals in Malmö.

Tickets to Sweden's matches and the opening ceremony in Gothenburg are to be booked on www.ticnet.se or at Scandinavium Arena's ticket office by phone +46 31-81 10 20.

Those who want final tickets might apply for them here on www.handball2011.com from October 12 to October 23.

Right now you only get the chance to purchase up to four tickets for the final. Those tickets are available in four categories:

Category 1: € 158

Category 2: € 118

Category 3: € 99
